摘要
•Eight genetic-based adaptation strategies were evaluated at three study sites using the CERES-Sorghum model.•Grain yield and irrigation water use decreased under climate change due to heat stress and shortening of growing season.•Increasing yield potential trait was found to be desirable for both irrigated and dryland conditions.•Increasing growing season length trait was not recommended due to increased irrigation water use.
