Preparation of a teicoplanin-bonded chiral stationary phase for simultaneous determination of clenbuterol and salbutamol enantiomers in meat by LC-MS/MS

•A mild thiol-ene addition was used to prepare teicoplanin stationary phase.•A LC-MS/MS method for assay clenbuterol and salbutamolenantiomers in meats byTCSP.•The high resolutions of the β2-agonist enantiomers were up to 2.47 with 20 min.•It is meaningful to find R/S-enantiomer ratio of clenbuterol in meat for food safety.
