Generalized model for plantation production of Eucalyptus grandis and hybrids for genotype-site-management applications

•There is increasing demand for models of forest production.•An APSIM Next Generation model was developed for Eucalyptus genotypes.•Datasets were from Australia and Brazil, with fertilizer, irrigation, weeds or genotype treatments.•Model performance for above-ground biomass and other variables was very good.•The model warrants consideration for knowledge synthesis, research and operations.
