Simulation of Skin Tissue Temperature Distribution During Laser Thermal Pain Treatment

Abstract Lasers are widely used in clinical pain research because they cause temperature changes in biological tissue, which activate nociceptors to create pain sensations. The key to thermal pain treatment lies in the temperature distribution of biological tissue caused by the laser. In order to improve the thermal pain response induced by laser, it is necessary to study the temperature distribution of biological tissue during treatment. In this paper, based on biological tissue in a special medium, combining the two modules of biological heat transfer and radiation heat transfer, a finite element model of laser thermal pain treatment is established. The model considers four factors such as laser power, and obtains the temperature distribution characteristics of biological tissue under laser irradiation through calculation under standard conditions, and then obtains the influence of different factors on temperature distribution through single factor analysis. At the end of the article, the results obtained by single factor analysis are analyzed by orthogonal test to obtain the degree of influence of different factors on temperature distribution. In clinical treatment, doctors can reasonably choose laser irradiation parameters based on the above results.
