Effect Analysis of Temperature and Velocity by Different Combustion Models in Foursquare Tangential Circle Boiler based on Numerical Simulation

The mixture fraction/probability density function (PDF) model and eddy break up (EBU) model were used to simulate the combustion in a 200MW foursquare tangential circle boiler, calculating the flue gas velocity field, temperature field and combustion product concentration distribution in the furnace. The calculated results showed that: the temperature filed of PDF model is consistent with EBU model, but the tangential circle obtained by PDF model is slightly larger than EBU model.
