A C-13 AND N-15 NMR-STUDY OF SOME AZOLOAZINES

C-13 chemical shifts are reported for eight azoloazines, in addition N-15 chemical shifts are given for two members of the series and compared with those previously reported for the remaining six compounds. The assignments are discussed. The combined set of C-13 and N-15 chemical shifts provide a comprehensive picture of the effects on chemical shifts of the continuous stepwise introduction of nitrogen atoms into both the five- and six-membered rings of azoloazines.
