Designed synthesis of different types of heterometallic isopropoxide coordination compounds of zirconium(IV) and their characterization

摘要
Five interesting heterometallic coordination compounds of zirconium(IV), such as [ZrCl3{eta(4)-M-2(OPri)(9)} (M = Sn (1), Ti (2)), [ZrCl2{eta(2)-Sb(OPri)(4)}(2)] (3), [ZrCl3{eta(4)-TiZr(OPri)(9)}] (4) and [ZrCl2{eta(3)-Ti-2(OPri)(9)}{eta(2)-Al(OPri)(4)}] (5), have been prepared by the reactions of ZrCI4 with an appropriate potassium isopropoxometallate ligand in benzene. All of these complexes (1)-(5) have been satisfactorilly characterized by elemental and isopropoxo group analyses, molecular weight measurements, and spectroscopic [IR, NMR (H-1, Al-27, Sn-119)] studies.
