A Primary Study on Uranium-Bearing Minerals in Ziyunshan W- and U-Bearing Granite, Southern China

摘要
The Ziyunshan granite is closely related to W deposits and U deposits. It can be divided into 3 units. ICPMS data suggests all of 3 units have high contents of U, and low contents of W Uraninite, uranothorite, xenotime, zircon and monazite are important U-bearing minerals of this granite, but no independent tungsten containing mineral have been found in this study. The uranium in altered accessory minerals can be released into the hydrothermal fluid and can form granite-related U deposit, especially for uraninite, but the magma evolution may be a "self-clean" process for W, which may lead to W concentrate in fluid during process of magma-fluid separation.
