摘要
Leaf extracts of plant Melia dubia was used for ecofriendly extracellular synthesis of silver nanoparticles. Stable silver nanoparticles were formed by treating an aqueous AgNo3 solution using the plant leaf extracts as reducing agents. UV - visible spectroscopy was used for quantification of silver nanoparticles synthesis. Synthesized silver nanoparticles were characterized with X-ray crystallography, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier - transform electron spectrscopy (FTIR). SEM image showed that the different shape of silver nanoparticles (triangles, tetragons, pentagons and hexagons). Antibacterial activity of silver nanoparticles was effective in sewage microbial load, and also larvicidal activity was more effective in synthesized silver nanoparticles.
