摘要
improve exercise capacity and activities of daily living. Methods: We collected patients who had some symptoms after treatment for a pulmonary disease, from October 2018 to June 2019, prospectively. Patients moved to a regional comprehensive care ward after treatment, and measured the Incremental shuttle walking test (ISWT), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) assessment test (CAT), respiratory function test and et al before and after rehabilitations for two weeks. Results: Thirty-five patients were included. There were eighteen males, and median age of all patients was 78 years old. There were eleven patients with COPD, nine with interstitial pneumonia, seven with non-tuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary infections, three with bronchial asthma, and the remaining five had other diseases. ISWT showed an increase after rehabilitations than before rehabilitations (median (IQR); 150 meters vs 90 meters, P<0.01), and seventeen out of 35 patients (48.6%) showed that the walking distance had increased more than 50 meters. CAT significantly decreased after rehabilitation (median (IQR): after rihabilitation14 points vs before rehabilitation 19 points, P<0.01). Modified Medical Research Council dyspnoea scale (P<0.01), the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (P=0.02), Nagasaki University Respiratory, and Activities of Daily Living Questionnaire (P=0.01) were improved after rehabilitations. Conclusion: Physical activity and symptoms of patients were improved within two weeks of pulmonary rehabilitations after treatment.
