Defect passivation by nontoxic biomaterial yields 21% efficiency perovskite solar cells

Nontoxic forest-based biomaterial is introduced into perovskites as effective defect passivator, which not only increases power conversion efficiency from 19.14% to 21.15%, but also significantly enhances humidity, thermal and light stability of perovskite solar cells.
