摘要

•The stem bark of Morinda lucida was investigated.•Three new anthraquinones including one tetrahydroanthraquinone were isolated.•This is the first report of the tetrahydroanthraquinone structural class in the genus. Morinda.•The antimicrobial activity of the compounds, crude extract and its fractions were evaluated.
