We present a photoconductive terahertz detector that operates at similar to 1 mu m pump wavelengths, offering a detection bandwidth exceeding 4 THz and a 95 dB signal-to-noise ratio, a 10-dB enhancement over the state-of-the-art detectors with similar bandwidth. (C) 2020 The Author(s)
