A photoreceiver with balanced SiN waveguide photodetectors and BiCMOS transimpedance amplifier is proposed, achieving a high conversion gain of greater than 2 kV/W up through 2 GHz, and a low in-band NEP of 8 pW/root Hz. (c) 2020 The Author(s)
