Mud pulse is adopted in logging while drilling/rotary steering system (LWD/RSS) to uplink down-hole measured signal. With the development of logging technology, the transmission rate commonly adopted in China has been unable to meet the needs of real-time uplink of existing parameters to achieve geo-steering and formation evaluation. Based on the coding characteristics of miller code signal and the requirements of sampling data precision in high data rate transmission, this paper designs a mud pulse signal acquisition and processing system based on ARM + FPGA dual processor architecture, and realizes the decoding and processing of high data rate miller code signal based on empirical mode decomposition, bit synchronization and other signal processing technologies. The correctness and adaptability of the system are further verified and optimized by field application.
