摘要
•Patients diagnosed with iodinated contrast material (ICM) adverse reactions are at elevated risk of repeat breakthrough reactions.•We investigated whether the severity of prior ICM adverse reactions in patients receiving emergency premedication therapy prior to PCI predicts outcomes.•The rate of breakthrough reactions was similar between groups stratified by severity of index reaction. These findings are not conclusive due to small sample size. Further studies are warranted to confirm or refute the findings highlighted in our study.
