Simultaneous increase in electrical conductivity and fatigue strength of Cu-Ni-Si alloy by utilizing discontinuous precipitates

摘要
•Ni-6Si-1.5Ni alloy with discontinuous precipitates (DPs) produced by overaging was cold rolled.•Conductivity of cold rolled specimen (CR-DP) was 1.64 times of normal aged specimen (CP).•Tensile strength and fatigue limit of CR-DP were 1.06 and 1.5 times greater than CP, respectively.•The trade-off between strength and conductivity of Cu alloys was significantly reduced in CR-DP.
