Mounting electronic components in interactive textiles

This document describes techniques and apparatus for mounting electronic components in interactive textiles. In various implementations, is an interactive fabric comprising interwoven into the fabric interactive conductive threads. The conductive yarn comprises a conductive wire (eg. As a copper wire) with one or more flexible threads (z., Polyester or cotton fibers), twisted, braided or wrapped. A fabric peeling method is applied to the interactive fabric to dislodge tissue interactive fabric and the flexible filaments in order to expose the conductive wire in a window of the interactive textile. After the exposure of the conductive wires in the window of the interactive textile, an electronic component (eg. As a flexible printed circuit board) is applied to the exposed conductive wire of the conductive thread mounted in the window of the interactive textile.
