摘要
Breastfeeding may lower blood pressure and improve longer-term markers of cardiovascular health in mothers. Interventions designed to increase women’s confidence about breastfeeding have been associated with improved breastfeeding rates among healthy women, but have yet to be tested among women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP). The objective was to assess the feasibility and acceptability of a pilot study testing a nurse-led intervention to enhance breastfeeding self-efficacy among women with HDP.
