The Use of Adjuvant Radiation Therapy in Male Breast Cancer and Its Impact on Outcomes.

•Upto 1/3 of male breast cancer (MBC) patients do not receive adjuvant radiation therapy (adj-RT) despite guidelines and recommendations.•It does appear that there is an association between decreased mortality and adj-RT in MBC undergoing breast conservation surgery (BCS).•The study also suggests a benefit to adj-RT after mastectomy (MS) for stage-III MBC, which should be recommended and administered as a standard of care.
