摘要
•Surface stability of Ni-rich NCM cathode material is improved by NTESA precursor.•Thermal treatment of NCM cathode material with NTESA forms artificial CEI layer.•Artificially embedded CEI layer inhibits electrolyte decomposition during cycling.•NTESA-modified NCM cathode exhibits improved cycling retention after 100 cycles.•Systematic spectroscopic analyses prove undesired reactions are well suppressed.
