Awareness and Attitude towards Dental Pulp Stem Cell Banking among Malaysians

•Knowledge of the participants on the dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) banking is fair while knowledge on the regenerative potential is poor.•People with tertiary education have higher knowledge.•Participants from life sciences background have higher knowledge than the people from all other occupations.•People's awareness on the regenerative potential of DPSCs does not affect their attitude towards their banking in malaysia.•Most of the participants want to know more about DPSCs and their regenerative potentials.
