摘要
•Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute systemic vasculitis with possible long-term impact of general cardio-vascular health.•Vasculitis linked to KD in part is characterised by endothelial cell damage during the acute phase.•Plasma syndecan-1 was associated with several acute phase blood counts reported at the acute phase.•KD might predispose to long-term Endothelial glycocalyx alteration influenced by other factors having a vascular impact.
