The sports building is one of the major public buildings of the modern city, it is the active center to carry out a variety of sports activities and competitions. Sports architecture is characterized by its large space and huge body. In order to meet the indoor thermal comfort it must be equipped with the air conditioning and heating devices and use mechanical ventilation for cooling. Thus, it often be divided into building of huge investment, high operating costs and energy consumption. Considering increasingly severe resource and environmental problems, people should not sacrifice huge energy resource to provide luxury space of sports architecture. Energy conservation for sports building is an important part of the energy saving transformation of the public building. Due to the large span and huge body, which is different from other public buildings, of sports architecture, energy saving measures suitable for sports buildings are needed. These measures mainly including the transformation of the insulated structure of roof and wall, the changing or increasing construct facilities which can help making full use of natural lighting and ventilation, and so on. This paper aims at providing reference for the construction of energy conservation and environment sounding sports architecture.
