Construction behavior monitoring through various means has been and will remain a very important activity for their administrators. This action obtained data on the status of construction and about any phenomena atypical behavior of its information enabling appropriate and timely decisions before they become dangerous. Also, both in our country and worldwide there are legal provisions that oblige their owners or administrators to monitor the behavior of a building throughout its life.Hydrotechnical structures in particular represents construction with very long duration of life and achieve their financial efforts imply particularly important. Their monitoring during construction, to commissioning as well as on the full load-duration represents the guarantee of their safety and prevent accidents that could become catastrophic.The number, height and dams made up to now have increased consistently, as well as technical issues. Location dams in less favorable areas make these problems even more complex. For this reason they were searched along time monitoring methods more efficient and more accurate results.Of the existing buildings at the moment I chose to analysis in this paper behavior during 1973-2011 while the dam of Valea de Pesti, Hunedoara, Romania because of the special characteristics they pose.Valea de Pesti Dam is located on river Valea de Pesti, 500 m upstream of its confluence with the Jiul de Vesti river. The dam provides a reservoir with a volume of 4,500,000 cubic meters of water supply in order to Lupeni Petrosani area.
