摘要
Broussonetia papyrifera, a species of fast growing hardwood, can be used for papermaking. The P-RC APMP properties from Broussonetia papyrifera wood chips with xylanase pre-impregnation were investigated. The results showed that physical strengths of P-RC APMP produced from Broussonetia papyrifera with xylanase pre-impregnation prior to regular P-RC APMP. The brightness stability of pulps was improved as well. Compared with regular P-RC APMP, tensile and burst strengths of xylanase pre-impregnation (xylanase dosage was 12U/g o.d. chip) was increased by 23.2% and 6.0%, respectively, when the Canadian standard freeness level was 170 mL. The PC value was decreased by 30.6%. Furthermore, it is suitable for production of LWC base paper. The better physical strength properties could be obtained when producing the same basis weight paper with xylanase pre-impregnation.
