Abstract
Innovative solutions generate positive contribution by improving businesses' production processes, decreasing environmental impact and simultaneously communicating social responsibility along with adequate education. Communication and innovation environments are known for their dynamicity. Such is currently represented by on-line communication channels, company innovation tools and new attitudes to information gathered through various digital technologies. The paper deals with using digital marketing in the eco-innovation process while presenting the results of the research aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the Slovak business environment. Through the research, we managed to clarify important facts which may enable us to solve out a future research issue.
