Application Of Conditional Averaging To Assess The Uncertainty Of The Arithmetic Mean Of Random Signals

Failure to take into account the existing statistical relationship of measurement data results in the underestimation or overestimation of the calculated statistical parameters used to assess the accuracy of the measurement. The article attempts to use conditional averaging to assess the uncertainty of the arithmetic mean, taking into account the influence of the statistical relationship of the data. The advantage of the conditional mean value (WWS) is a simple mathematical description and the ease of calculation in practice. The conditional mean value may be used in analyzing measurement data and in recognizing and evaluating the statistical relationship of signal samples.
