摘要
•As highlighted by the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, there is a need for better patient monitoring options without the need for in-hospital visits. Embedding patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in routine clinical practice could be an adequate starting point.•The value of PROMs was recognized by all but one healthcare professional. Both parties emphasized on the importance of discussing PROM scores during clinical visits.•Patients would like to see a call to action if their PROM scores are below average and feel this should be prioritized over shortening PROM completion time.
