Disparate properties of afterdischarges elicited by electric cortical stimulation in MRI lesional epilepsy patients with different surgical outcomes

•A significantly higher occurrence of ADs in region ML than that in region nML.•High occurrence of ADs in region ML might predict a good outcome.•High occurrence of ADs evolving into seizure might predict an unfavorable outcome.•High ADs threshold and short ADs duration might predict an unfavorable outcome.•No difference in properties of ADs between SF and nSF patients in region nML.
