Double paths network with residual information distillation for improving lung CT image super resolution

•Developed an efficient medical image super-resolution method based on deep learning to assist the examination of Covid-19.•Utilized the medical image super-resolution method of end-to-end learning to reduce the reconstruction time.•Combined with the advantages of residual blocks and information distillation to extract information, respectively.•Experimental results show that the SR results by the proposed method has clearer details and edges.
