Single Objective LSFM

Text Swept confocally aligned planar excitation (SCAPE) microscopy is a single objective light-sheet method that permits ultra-fast 3D imaging. We have developed a wide range of different SCAPE systems, capable of imaging structure and function across scales from sub-cellular to entire, freely moving organisms. We have also optimized SCAPE for challenging imaging applications such as neuronal activity in the awake, behaving mouse brain. In parallel, we have developed a range of dynamic image analysis methods to extract quantitative information from SCAPE datasets. I will describe our recent progress, applications and dissemination efforts.
