Direct monitoring of the collateral network (CN) perfusion pressure in extensive descending and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm repair

Objectives: Although maintenance of adequate spinal cord perfusion by the paraspinal collateral network (CN) is critical to the success of surgical and endovascular repair of extensive descending thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms, direct monitoring of the CN pressure has not previously been described.
