Feeding with Treated Cane Head Makes Milk Production Costs More Efficient in Cattle

The objective of the present work was to demonstrate the decrease in the cost of milk production by feeding 19 crossed Holstein cows with treated cane sugar.The research was carried out in the district of Tumán, Chiclayo, Peru.We used a Fully Random Design (DCA), with a control (Traditional Feeding) and a treatment (Feeding with treated Cane Cogollo).The variable evaluated was the cost of production.The results show that there are significant differences between control and treatment.In this sense, it is concluded that feeding cattle with treated cane juice provided greater utility in comparison to the cattle that received a traditional feed
