A DC Measurement Technique for Characterizing The Frequency Chirp of Mach Zehnder Modulators

摘要

A simple method for determining the chirp-factor α of Mach Zehnder modulators using only DC measurements is proposed. Simulations show a good agreement between the results and the theory over the entire range of α.
