Retículo Pericardite Traumática Associada À Pleurite E Peritonite Em Vaca Leiteira

This is a case report of a Traumatic Pericarditis Reticulum associated with pleuritis and peritonitis in a dairy cow in its 4th lactation.According to the owner before parturition, the female presented breathing difficulty and progressive weight loss.After calving these signs intensified.At 31 days postpartum the female was evaluated and a respiratory disorder was suspected and the treatment was performed.Afterwards, the female showed walking discomfort, reduced milk production and hay intake, subcutaneous edema and positive jugular pulse.The animal died 46 days postpartum and necropsy was performed for definitive diagnosis.It was concluded that associated with Traumatic Pericarditis Reticulum occurred pleuritis and peritonitis.
