摘要

The real time observation of a disulfide bond formation is performed in neat dimethylsulfide at 294K. A transient state with a lifetime of 270 fs is identified as the direct precursor (RSR-)nRSR, R = CH3) of a sulfur-centered three-electron bond (2c, 3e).
