ELIXIR Industry Strategy

The vision of the ELIXIR Industry Strategy is to support the creation of an open innovation ecosystem in the life sciences, driven by collaboration between industry and ELIXIR Nodes. In this ecosystem, existing companies will increasingly use and integrate public life science resources, leading to new services, economic growth, and new SMEs. Funders and policy-makers will, in turn, acknowledge that providing free bioinformatics resources represent a public good and support innovation and the transition to a knowledge-based economy.
