摘要
New generation of highly-ordered functional porous materials, MOFs offer the functionality related to their well-developed porous systems and active centers, which are associated with either the metal nodes or linkers bearing functional groups. Further advance in the MOFs' properties and thus the broadening of their application potential is possible via combination with materials providing improved stability or specific functionality hard to be achieved for the original frameworks. Among the resultant composite materials, MOFs combination with the inorganic materials are of especial interest due to the multiple synthesis possibilities for components integration and a number of valuable characteristics provided by crystalline or amorphous inorganic constituents. The combination of MOFs with inorganic materials like zeolites, silica and metal oxides allow to tune the physical and chemical properties of the parent materials and provide composite materials with high application potential. This review provide an overview of the existing strategies for the preparation of MOF-inorganic material composites exemplified by the recent advanced approaches. The feature set of new multicomponent materials is classified according to the application in catalysis (acid-base, red-ox, photo-), adsorption and separation, electrochemistry (supercapacitors, batteries), and biomedicine.(c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
