Epigenetic dysregulationis involved in the molecular deficits in schizophrenia. Previous research has show hypermethylation of GABAergic promoter gene and increases in DNMT1 and DNMT3A in post mortem brain of patients with SZ and in lymphocytes of patients with chronic schizophrenia (CSZ). We now report preliminary results on a larger set of epigenetic related mRNA’s in lymphocytes of CSZ
