The Effect Observation of Octreotide Combined with Low Dose Pituitrin in Treatment of Hepatic Cirrhosis Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding

Objective To investigate the effect of Octreotide combined with low dose Pituitrin in treatment of hepatic cirrhosis upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods 108 patients with hepatic cirrhosis upper gastrointestinal bleeding were divided into two groups randomly.Group A(n=60) was treated with Octreotide combined with low dose Pituitrin;Group B(n=48) was treated with single Octreotide.Every group was given the same treatment as ambrosia,detaining the canal of stomach,oral using the norepinephrine,blood-transfusion,fluid replacement and so on.The gastric contents were drawn to observe bleeding condition regularly.Results The control excellence rates of bleeding were 33.3% and 16.7% respectively.The total effective rate were 95.0% and 83.3% respectively.The adverse reaction rate were 6.67% and 6.25% respectively.Conclusion Octreotide combined with low dose Pituitrin stops bleeding quickly in treatment of hepatic cirrhosis upper gastrointestinal bleeding.It has significant clinical effect and less side effect.
