Teleworking during COVID-19 in the Netherlands: Understanding behaviour, attitudes, and future intentions of train travellers

•Public transport (PT) users are more likely to telework compared to total population.•Six teleworker types, varying in e.g. frequency, attitude, and intentions.•71% shows high willingness-to-telework impacting travel intensity, especially PT.•Low willingness relates to organizations not being ready and dislike of telework.•Self-employed are largely unaffected in this pandemic.
