摘要

•Morning Glory syndrome (MGS) is a rare congenital optic disc abnormality.•We report a case of MGS combined with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) in which the contractile movement of the retinal hole was observed.•This case is the first to report the successful treatment of a retinal hole in a MGS patient by internal limiting membrane tamponade combined with autologous blood coverage.
