摘要
Highflux microchannel membranes have the potential for large scaleseparations. However, it is prevented by poor enantioselectivity. Therefore, thedevelopment of a high-enantioselective microchannel membrane is of greatimportance for large scale chiral separations. In this work, chiral gold nanoparticlesare incorporated into the microchannel membrane to astringe the large pores andimprove the enantioselectivity. Here, the gold nanoparticles are functionalized byL-phenylalanine-derived pil-lararenes (L-Phe-P6@AuNPs) as the chiral receptor of R-phenylglycinol (R-PGC) over its enantiomer. This chiral Au NPs coatedmicrochannel membrane (L-Phe-P6@AuNPs microchannel) shows a selectivity of5.40 for R-PGC and aflux of 140.35 nmolmiddotcm-2middoth-1, where the enantioselectivity isimproved, ensuring itsflux. Compared with the enantioselectivity andflux ofnanochannel membranes reported in literatures, theL-Phe-P6@AuNPs micro-channel has the advantage for enantioselectivity andflux for chiral separation.
