摘要
Adolescence is a window of vulnerability for concussion, with girls reporting more psychological problems (e.g., anxiety) than boys following concussion. Even if this has been linked to structural brain changes occurring during this period; no neuroimaging study has examined if anxiety symptoms can be explained by concussion-related lesions in key tracts for emotional regulation, and if sex and pubertal maturity can help explain this relationship.
