Postherpetic pseudohernia: A rare complication of herpes zoster

Herpes zoster (HZ) is caused by the reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus (VZV), which has the ability to remain latent in neural tissue. We report a case of a rare complication, abdominal pseudohernia, developed in a 63-year-old woman, caused by the partial protrusion of the abdominal wall due to paralysis of the muscles.
