•Used immunoinformatic tools to screen the T-cell and B-cell epitopes for the Marburgvirus proteins GP, NP, VP24, VP30, VP35, VP40, and L.•Performed consensus and novelty analysis to identify potential vaccine candidate epitopes.•Investigated the atomistic details of the epitope-allele complexes for the GP and NP epitopes using molecular dynamics simulations.
