摘要
•In PBS solution, the passive film on cellular structured Ti-6Al-4V was less stable and protective than that on dense Ti-6Al-4V.•Cellular structured Ti-6Al-4V with large pore size exhibited superior corrosion property than alloy with small pore size, due to the relatively smaller exposed surface area and unlimited flow of electrolyte.•In acid PBS containing fluoride ions, the pore characteristics did not play an important role in the corrosion performance.
