摘要
An as-cast AM30 Mg alloy was homogenized at 400 degrees C for 24 h and rolled at 350 degrees C by symmetric rolling (SR), asymmetric rolling (ASR), and asymmetric rolling combined with reverse rolling (ASR + RR). The grain size marginally decreased from SR to ASR to ASR+RR processes. The low-angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) percentage was in the order ASR+RR > ASR > SR and maximum intensity of basal texture was in the order ASR+RR < ASR < SR. The tensile properties of the hot-rolled sheets were in the order ASR+RR > ASR > SR. Thus, the tensile properties of 0.2% PS = 224 +/- 1 MPa, UTS = 276 +/- 3 MPa, and %El = 8.2 +/- 0.4% with minimum anisotropy were obtained for ASR +RR sheet. The higher strength of ASR+RR sheet is attributed to a higher percentage of LAGBs resulting in greater strain hardening and higher %El and minimum tensile anisotropy is attributed to the weaker basal texture.
