摘要

•The forward and backward swept blades are proposed and designed.•Noise levels of axial fans are evaluated by experiment using an anechoic chamber.•The flow and acoustic characteristics of the swept blades are investigated.•The designed forward-swept fan achieves a noise level reduction of 4 dBA.
